It started as one step of obedience. We answered the call to go. We went first to Mexico, then to Asia. The local leadership heard a women’s ministry leader was coming and they asked.
Women! There are many women! They need more of Jesus. Can you tell them? Can you train them?
What we saw changed us.
We saw first generation Christians – “keepers of their religion” in their culture – who were not allowed to ask questions of men. We saw them hungry to learn more about Jesus. Not knowing what to do with their new Christianity or where to go, many women returned to ancient customs or religions. What we saw with our own eyes haunted us.
How can we help? Should we? Why not? But how?
A call for Christian women to come to a training was issued and they did – in hundreds! Women walked for hours, took trains across their county, and slept on concrete floors to learn more about Jesus.
What if we poured discipleship essentials into a no-nonsense conference?
Teach them about God’s work in them and through them. Teach them God’s story to help them find their story…their purpose…their mission. Just God’s word, a pen and good-soil hearts.
And more…what if we brought Bibles to women who didn’t own them?
Teach them how to study the Bible and use it to share God’s love story in loving ways.
So we did.
Lives changed…including our own.
Since 2010, we’ve traveled across the globe and taught the privileged and the poor. No matter where we go, the need is the same: Women need Jesus. Women need women to be godly women.
The solution is the same, and it is the mission of AIM:
For ALL to know Jesus as Savior and Lord of ALL of their life.
Are you all in? If so, will you join us? Time to connect
