One Verse Can Change the Game

One line of scripture can completely transform and change the direction of someone’s life.

The Bible is alive – a living document that feeds our soul, answers our questions, and ultimately points us to the truth in ALL things.

We’ve all heard that the Bible is powerful. But do you believe in the power of the living Word of God?

Do you believe one line of text on a page can change the trajectory of someone’s life?

One verse starts a journey leading to another verse. God’s hand leading you and directing your path, weaving scripture into a story He knows you need to hear.

One of our Romanian Ministry Partners shared how God used one verse to lead her through His word and impact her at the AIM Receive Conference.

First, she told us that she wrote down two words in her journal. The words “healing” and “rest” were her first thoughts as she dove into the question “what did I come to RECEIVE at this conference.”

She said, “Jesus, my good shepherd gently invited me to search my soul throughout the weekend: Did I need rest? Supernatural peace? Healing from deep wounds?”

She was seeking, and God was ready to reveal. He already knew what she needed to hear.

She says, “I was deeply moved by what the Father had to say to me during the Ezekiel exercise.  The promise found in Ezekiel 34:12 gave me insight into the heart of my good Shepherd and the work He wanted to do in my family.

Moments after teaching how Jesus is our Good Shepherd at the AIM Receive Conference in Romania, we saw a shepherd leading his flock along the side of the road. God is in the details.

As a shepherd seeks out his flock when he is among his sheep that have been scattered, so will I seek out my sheep, and I will rescue them from all places where they have been scattered on a day of clouds and thick darkness.

Ezekiel 34:12

She continued, “We had recently experienced some dark valleys together and were feeling scattered, oppressed, and hopeless. The cross-reference for verse 12 led me to read Joel 2:12.

“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;”

Joel 2:12

The encouragement and hope I received from the Lord through that passage brought me to tears.  God reminded me that the battle we were facing as a family was being fought on our behalf in the heavenlies.

The final cross-reference I read was Exodus 10:14, which further clarified the immensity of the spiritual battle we had been up against, and the enemy’s agenda of “destruction,” unlike anything we had faced before.”

“The locusts came up over all the land of Egypt and settled on the whole country of Egypt, such a dense swarm of locusts as had never been before, nor ever will be again.”

Exodus 10:14

God moves through Scripture.

God knows what you need to see in His Word.

God wants you to know He is with you even in the small details.

She finished by saying, “I was able to pray in the quietness of my room, releasing the battle into God’s hands, and receiving His hope and promise to rescue and deliver our family from the enemy’s plan to bring destruction.”

Women gather at the Romanian AIM Receive Conference.

One verse leads to another verse. Mindset shifted as God’s everlasting love and plan is revealed through His Word.

Consider how one verse could change everything for someone else. If you feel led to share God’s Word with someone, God may be speaking through you. So share His word with others. Even if it’s one verse, it may be the exact one they need to hear.

God gave you the Bible to use as a tool, and He can use one verse to change the game for you too. All great stories start with a single line of text, and yours is no exception. One single line from the Creator who knows His plan for you can point you in the right direction. Game Changer.

Turning Tears Into Pearls...The Power of Testimonials Article by All In Ministries |

Turning Your Tears into Pearls for Others – The Power of Testimonies

Sharing God stories is powerful. Walls are torn down. The power of “I can relate” takes place, as women identify with others’ triumphs and trials. Community forms and the gospel is shared.

But, most importantly, God is glorified.

That’s why at every AIM conference we make testimonies a priority.

In Romania, we heard several powerful examples of God working in the lives of women before and during the conference.* One young woman shared,

“I grew up in a Christian home, but we did not learn about the love of God.

When I was sexually abused at school, shame-filled me and led me down a path of drugs and alcohol.

Two years ago, I discovered God’s love and I thought I was healed. I wanted to help other women heal from sexual abuse.

When my fiancé broke off our engagement, I did not want to help anyone anymore. But, at this conference, I took steps of healing.

I discovered God loves me for who I am, not what I do, or how I look.

I am willing to serve the Lord again.”

The AIM conference teaches how forgiveness leads to freedom…and freedom leads to experiencing the fullness of God (John 10:10). One woman knew what it was like to be in bondage spiritually and physically. She shared,

“I was sentenced to jail for 10 years.

When I was released, it was very difficult for me.

In prison, I had time with God. But I did not know how to act on my faith.

I would ask God, ‘Are you still loving me?’

After attending this conference, I am a changed woman.

I know He loves me and I am now physically free and spiritually free.

Now, I know how to live with God to fulfill His purpose for my life.”

Many other stories of life change took place in Romania. The women’s ministry team there is ready and equipped to help the women fulfill their purpose to be a disciple who makes disciples.

When we transitioned to Hungary, we were curious if anyone would share their testimonies. We knew the cultures were different but also knew God was at work. We were so blessed when one of the musical worship leaders in Hungary shared her God story,

“I did not have big challenges growing up until college.

My parents divorced and a serious relationship I had ended.

Someone told me God will use my tears and turn them into pearls for others.

I’ve learned how prayer and the Word of God has kept me alive.”

Yes, God used her tears and turned them into pearls for others, as she shared on the last night of the AIM conference.

It was beautiful. And, it was new.

Worship at the AIM Abide Conference in Hungary

We learned that this conference was the first of its kind in Hungary. Ministries came together and women from different denominations and churches responded.

The team of leaders in Hungary want to continue growing the sisterhood that was formed during the conference. This way more lives are changed and they can bring change to Budapest…and the rest of their nation.

Consider how your tears can be turned into pearls for others.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Be brave. Share your God story with others. You never know how God will be glorified.

*Testimonies are translated into English in phrases. Often, we need to add words to complete the thought when writing out others’ testimonies. We work hard to convey an accurate reflection of a woman’s testimony shared at the AIM conference based on what information the translator provides us.

AIM Romania Receive Conference and Hungary Abide Conference 2019 | This One Decision May Change The World

This One Decision May Change The World

We let the women know this decision was coming.

We gave them days to think about it. As the question hung in the air, we prayed. Will they do it, Lord? Help them do it, Lord.

Susan Freese teaches at the AIM Receive Conference in Romania.

“Will you take what you learned and pass it on to others? Will you be a disciple who makes disciples of Jesus? If yes, please stand before God and make a commitment.”

For three days – in both Romania and Hungary – we taught the women the essentials of the faith and how to deepen their relationship with God. Through a vibrant, intimate relationship with the Lord, they learned how to serve Him in the overflow of that real relationship. Working with God, not for Him. Serving from a position of acceptance, not for acceptance.

The Hungarian women shared with us how they were told they would not make good leaders or disciple-makers because they are bad drivers. We thought they were being funny! No, they weren’t. They were serious.

The Romanian women were told “women” and “leadership” do not go together. Culture sets limits.

AIM Hungary Abide Conference 2019
Women gathered at the AIM Abide Conference in Budapest, Hungary to learn how they can be an important part in God’s story.

Rest assured, AIM is not trying to “empower” women in a positional, political sense to take over leadership roles. We simply equip women to be disciples who make disciples to change the world. (John 4 repeated.) Yet, in these two separate and unique cultures, the idea of training is similarly associated with leadership. From what the missionaries explained, discipleship training has never before been offered to women in Hungary.

The question of commitment was far greater than the AIM conference training for multiplication. Empty cathedrals and churches sprinkled all over Europe await action. Who are going to be doers of the word and not hearers only (James 1:22)? This question meant standing up for something rarely offered to women. Standing up meant they were standing against cultural norms. Standing up meant standing before God to be a disciple-maker.

We stood back and watched as each woman encountered the living God.

One by one each woman rose to her feet to take an oath in front of God to be a disciple who makes disciples of Jesus Christ.

Yes, 100% of the women in both Romania and Hungary made the commitment! To God be ALL the Glory!!!

No more questioning what God’s plan and purpose is for women in Romania and Hungary. No more wondering how to abide, study the Bible, or pass on the faith. The women were equipped and unleashed to make a difference in their circles of influence that God has entrusted to them!

As our in-country AIM champions in both nations follow up with the women individually, please pray that the seeds sown would produce a 100-fold harvest. Pray for the women who are married to unbelievers to love their spouse well, so their husbands may enjoy the aroma of Christ in their home and be drawn to Him. Pray for the single women to find completion and wholeness in who they are in Christ. Pray for the mothers to live an authentic faith behind closed doors knowing that their assignment to be a disciple-maker starts at home.

There are many stories of redemption, reconciliation, and renewal that happened during the AIM conferences in Romania and Hungary in the past two weeks. Those life-changing encounters happened because of our beloved AIM ministry partners. Thank you for your prayers and your generosity to change the world one woman at a time.

140 Bibles were given to the Romanian women attending the AIM Receive Conference!

All In Ministries International Celebrating International Women's Day

International Women’s Day 2019

Are you counting the days until International Women’s Day on March 8th?

No? Maybe you haven’t heard of it.

You’re not alone. Many Americans are not aware of this holiday which originated in the USA more than 100 years ago.

Worldwide, however, International Women’s Day is celebrated in many countries like Mother’s Day is here in the United States – cards, small gifts, and extra hugs exchanged generously.

The beautiful difference is all women are honored; not just mothers. No one is left out. That’s why we here at All In Ministries International love it so much. Let’s appreciate and recognize all women.

All In Ministries Romania Abide Conference 2017 Romanian Women Learning about God

This year, International Women’s Day will be remembered differently for AIM.

We were invited months ago to celebrate International Women’s Day in Romania by offering an AIM training conference.

We smiled knowing the purpose of the holiday is to make a positive difference in a woman’s life. What greater impact can one make in a woman’s life but by helping her discover she is loved, valued, and has a purpose to make disciples of Jesus, and then equipping her to know Him well and share Him with others?

Most women around the world have never been taught these concepts. When these truths hit deep into a woman’s soul, her identity is changed. She brings positive difference not only to her family, but also to her tribe or village. The result is the same as when Jesus ministered to the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4). They drop everything to tell everyone. The gospel is advanced, and people encounter Jesus.

AIM International Women's Day

The world changes.

As we count down the days until International Women’s Day on March 8th, the first day of the training conference in Romania, we invite you to consider how you can make a positive difference in a woman’s life.

Be intentional.

Love women well.

Share Jesus with a woman…and she might just change the world.

P.S. Would you please pray for the upcoming mission on March 5-16 as we teach intensive discipleship conferences in Romania and Hungary. We’re so grateful for your ministry partnership through prayer.

The Power of Men Praying for Women

Romania Conference 2017 Woman Writing

Why return to Romania?

Why return when the women are doing all they were instructed to do from the AIM conference held in October 2017?

  • The women are making disciples.
  • The church is strengthened with women learning and living the Bible.
  • Women are serving in outreach ministries to gypsy villages for the first time!

The missionary said how men were thanking her for the AIM conference and sharing how their wives were changed because of it. The women were bringing positive change to their families and neighbors. Marriages were healed. There was immediate generational and community impact!

So, when the millennial-reaching, high-growth Romanian church asked for AIM to come back to conduct a follow-up teaching, we wondered…

Why return, God?  They are doing what the Bible says to do. What more should we teach them?

After six-months of prayer, God made Himself clear through prayer, scripture, and a ministry retreat that we must return. The day we said “yes” to the Romanian church, we emailed the missionary in Hungary who asked us to contact him if we were to ever return to the area.

You will not believe what he shared:

I just returned from a conference in Poland of European church planters.  At the conference, we prioritized topics.  In the top three was the obvious need for good training for women in our churches.  This was a group from five different countries from all over Europe, and we all sensed that God really wants us to focus more on women, in addition to what we are already doing.
As you might guess, all but two of the 14 people were men and we all sat there like, “how is this going to happen?”

In a debrief with my Hungarian friends, we all committed to pray specifically for discipleship training for women in Budapest.  So, God is stirring hearts. All that being said, if AIM is interested we can definitely host a women’s discipleship conference for our network.

Trey, IMB Missionary in Budapest

Door Open. Opportunity Everywhere!

After seeing the exponential impact of equipping women leaders during the 2018 AIM missions in Liberia and Ethiopia, we asked the missionaries to invite women leaders from across their networks to be in attendance. They understood and agreed.

By God’s grace and your partnership, we’ll be equipping women leaders in both Romania and Hungary this March at two separate three-day AIM conferences.

Interestingly, many of the women leaders are literate and highly educated, but do NOT own study Bibles. Yet, God has already provided for our Romania sisters. The needed study Bibles have been generously donated to help teach women in their language so they may hear from God and share Jesus with others. Praise God! You can make a difference in these women’s lives too!

Will you partner with us? Time is short. The mission is March 5-16, 2019

AIM Romania Conference 2017 Discipleship Reaching Generations

Easy ways to partner with us:

  1. You can join us in prayer.
  2. You can share this need with friends who might also consider partnering with us.
  3. You can partner with us financially to help support the work of AIM.

As a donor-funded, independent, nonprofit organization, we need ministry partners to invest in this mission.

Would you please prayerfully consider making a tax-deductible donation to AIM (a 501c3 organization) at 4420 Hodges Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32224 or online at
